Scope’s commitment to website accessibility
We are committed to making our website (https://shop.scope.org.uk/)as accessible as possible. It is tested every 6 months.
We want everyone to be able to use our site no matter what their impairments are, or what technologies they use. This is part of our An Equal Future strategy
We created this website taking best practices and web accessibility guidelines into account. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 and aim for AAA standard.

We have made the site as usable as we can, but you might have a better experience if you change the settings on your computer to suit your individual needs.
For example you might change the site’s colours, increase the text size, or have the site spoken aloud.

Known problems with this site’s accessibility
We know that there are some accessibility problems with this site, and we are going to fix them as soon as we can.
We are currently working to fix:
· Alternative (alt text) on images, this is a work in progress
· The accessibility of the Instagram posts
· Colour contrast issues within the chat bot
· Use of abbreviations in item descriptions
We are unable to change the payment page to make it more accessible. Please let us know if you have any issues accessing this page and we will try to get changes made with the service provider.

Testing has been carried out using core journeys on our website, in June 2025 and feedback is with the teams to complete fixes.
